Thinning Hair Makes a Fashion Statement

Bonding is a fashion statement of those with thinning hair. It is a temporary weaving method and a perfect way to add volume to thinning hair. It can also add vibrant streaks of color to your natural hair. Tracks of hair are glued to the roots of your own hair with a special adhesive.

To prevent damage to your natural hair, tracks shouldn’t be left for any longer than a week or two. Bonding may also refer to the attachment of toupees and custom wigs with a medical grade adhesive. There are 2 types of bond: soft bond which dries in the consistency of rubber glue and hard bond which dries to the consistency of crazy glue.

The fusion method presents one of the most versatile and most natural-looking weaves on the market. With this technique, a machine similar to a hot glue gun is used to hold human hair extensions to individual strands of your natural hair for a truly authentic look. With a fusion weave, you can wash your hair every week and use products like gels and mousse to style. This is one of the most time-consuming and costly methods that can conceal thinning hair.

Recently, hair extensions that do not require any heating elements have been introduced.  Called cold fusion extensions, these are made of 100% human hair. The intense heat used in applying traditional hair extensions may damage them.

In tracking, natural tresses are first braided around the head in concentric circles. The braids are sewn down, and then extensions are sewn to the braids. Eight to fifteen tracks are needed for a full head.

To sew the weave hair, the hair must be braided into cornrows. The wearer may leave out a section of hair if she or he wants a part or half of the hair weaved. So the hair won’t appear lumpy, the hair is sewn horizontally across the head from one side to the other, starting from the bottom.

Netting is a technique which involves braiding natural tresses under a thin, breathable net that serves as a flat surface onto which stylists can weave extensions. Netting provides more flexibility than track placement because the stylist is not limited to sewing extensions to a braid.

The latest development in weaving extensions is lace extensions. Lace extensions are made from a nylon mesh material formed into a cap that is then manually ventilated by knotting single strands of hair into the tiny openings of the cap form, giving the hair a more natural, realistic flow than conventional extensions, and creating a lighter, more breathable cap. These extension units can be woven in or attached to the hairline with special adhesives. Head measurements are taken to ensure a proper fit with this type of weave.

Healthy hair regrowth with a natural hair loss product

An important thing to do when you have been afflicted by alopecia or hair loss is to achieve hair regrowth. In most prevalent cases, this condition is often caused by hereditary or genetic. Men as experts say are the favorite targets of genetic balding or commonly known as male pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia). This type of loss can commence in males as early as teenagers and it becomes completely apparent as they grow older.

Male pattern baldness is inherited either both parents but clinical studies show that the mother’s side of the family gets the stronger influence. This means that if your mother’s father or grandfather had experienced pattern baldness, chances are you will too experience it when you reach the age of 25 to 50. The onset of such genetic balding is characterized by a thinning hair at the front and on the crown area. Over time, this becomes worse which leads to pattern baldness. The receding hairline at the frontal area is commonly the first thing that can be noticed and the shape of this greatly resembles of an “M” pattern and a blatant bald spot at the top or crown area.

Majority of the hair care experts suggest people to use serums applied directly to their scalp to stimulate hair regrowth and to stop further hair loss. A hair loss treatment that has been used for quite some time already is the minoxidil solution. This promises good results but patients are well-cautioned as this can inevitably provide irritating side effects that typically occurred on the affected areas like severe itching and swelling, and redness of the site. Because of these side effects, there are more and more hair loss sufferers trying to avoid minoxidil solution as their daily treatment and are turning to hair loss products consisting of herbal or natural ingredients.

An herbal ingredient highly considered to be a prime and potent DHT inhibitor is the saw palmetto extracts. This main and active ingredient is reckoned clinically to obstruct DHT activity in the scalp and thus can revive the life of limp and thinning hair or even bring back the lost hair all at the same time. A product that contains this is Leimo. Leimo is purely based on natural ingredients as it boosts with saw palmetto extracts and other natural ingredients that are all accurate in battling androgenic alopecia and promote healthy hair regrowth not just in men but in women as well.
